Cider

It’s Aloha Friday ☀️

Actually it should say Aloha Wednesday because that’s when I had this cider but I wanted to be punny and wait for actual Friday to post about it.

Hello Aloha Friday by Downeast Cider.

Since I began my drinking life cider has always been my drink of choice. For the longest time Woodchuck cider out of Middlebury Vermont was my favorite, however over the past couple years Downeast has slowly grown and surpassed Woodchuck as my new fav.

I have had the opportunity to visit the taproom in in Boston numerous times and each time have had an amazing experience. If you have the chance I highly recommend it. They often have flavors you can only try in the taproom plus on entry you get 5 free sample tickets and you can’t beat that. But let us get back to their cider I’m featuring this week; Aloha Friday.

This is their seasonal summer cider and has been a summer staple for many in the past couple years since its release. This pineappley cider is so refreshing and delicious it is perfect for any hot sticky summer day. I have been waiting for this to be out again and plan on purchasing many packs of it to drink all summer long.

As I said it’s very light and refreshing and doesn’t fill you up. You can easily finish off a four pack without even noticing ( I know from experience) but you don’t feel gross afterwards because of the fruity taste which makes you feel like you’ve almost been healthy. I mean apples and pineapples in a cider form equal a serving of fruit right?

Anyways I highly highly suggest sampling this delicious beauty if you come across it this summer. And if you’re in the Boston area stop by their taproom or their outdoor summer cider garden on the greenway (they did it last year and I think are doing it again this year).

Until next time I’ll be out here drink my Friday’s away with a pineapple breeze.
